RevUP Community – Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and participation in the RevUP Caribbean Founders’ Growth and Community Support Network (RevUP Community), operated by RevUP Caribbean Limited (“RevUP”, “we”, “our”, “us”). By joining, accessing, or using the RevUP Community (the “Community”), you agree to comply with these Terms. Please read them carefully.


1. Definitions

  • Community – The RevUP Caribbean Founders’ Growth and Community Support Network, hosted on Zoho Connect.
  • Member – Any individual or organization granted access to the Community under one of the subscription tiers.
  • Services – Programmes, events, mentorship, resources, and other offerings provided to Members.
  • Subscription Tier – Membership plan selected (Free, StartUP, ScaleUP, or RevUP Elite).
  • Stakeholders – Alumni, mentors, angel investors, partners, speakers, and other ecosystem participants.

2. Eligibility

  • Membership is open to founders, entrepreneurs, angel investors, alumni, mentors, and ecosystem stakeholders.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to join.
  • RevUP reserves the right to approve, deny, or revoke membership at its discretion.

3. Membership & Subscription

  • Membership options include Free, StartUP, ScaleUP, and RevUP Elite.
  • Services vary by tier and may include:
    • Community directory, access to resources and tools.
    • Exclusive webinars and events (basic invitations to priority speaking opportunities).
    • Business coaching and mentorship (quarterly to weekly sessions, depending on tier).
    • Zoho technical support (monthly to daily sessions, depending on tier).
    • Goal-setting and governance accountability (quarterly to weekly).
    • Pitch coaching and direct opportunities to present to angel investors (Elite tiers).
    • Access to shared services (legal, accounting, auditing, marketing) at below-market rates.

4. Payments & Renewals

  • Subscription fees are published on the RevUP website and may be updated from time to time.
  • Fees are payable in advance (Monthly, quarterly or annually).
  • All payments are non-refundable except as required by law.
  • Membership renews automatically unless cancelled prior to the renewal date.
  • Processing/transactions fee are applicable depending on your payment method. 
  • Note: All paid plans are recurring monthly subscriptions. By subscribing, you authorize RevUP Caribbean Limited to automatically charge your card each month until you cancel.

5. Use of the Platform (Zoho Connect)

  • Members will be given login access to the Community on Zoho Connect.
  • You agree to:
    • Use the platform responsibly and professionally.
    • Respect confidentiality of information shared within the Community.
    • Not upload harmful, illegal, defamatory, or infringing content.
  • RevUP may suspend or terminate access if these rules are violated.

6. Community Conduct

By joining, you agree to:

  • Engage respectfully with other members.
  • Avoid harassment, discrimination, or abusive language.
  • Not solicit members outside of permitted fundraising, mentorship, or partnership activities.
  • Protect the privacy and data of other members.

RevUP reserves the right to remove content or suspend any member who breaches these standards.


7. Intellectual Property

  • Content, resources, and materials shared by RevUP remain the intellectual property of RevUP or its partners.
  • Members may use provided resources for personal and business growth but may not reproduce, distribute, or sell without permission.
  • Content shared by Members remains their property, but by posting, you grant RevUP a non-exclusive license to use it within the Community.

8. Mentorship & Coaching Disclaimer

  • Mentorship, coaching, and advice provided through the Community are for educational and informational purposes only.
  • RevUP, its mentors, or its partners are not responsible for business decisions or outcomes resulting from advice.

9. Access to Finance

  • Opportunities to pitch to investors or access funding partners (e.g., FirstAngelsJA, MScale) are not guaranteed.
  • RevUP does not act as a financial advisor, broker, or guarantor.
  • Members are responsible for conducting their own due diligence before accepting financing.

10. Privacy & Data Protection

  • RevUP collects limited personal and business information for membership administration, service delivery, and analytics.
  • Data will be stored securely and used in line with applicable data protection laws, including the Jamaica Data Protection Act, 2020.

  • Members must not share personal or business data of others without consent.

11. Termination of Membership

  • Members may cancel their membership at any time by emailing [email protected]A minimum of 15 days’ notice prior to your next billing date is required for the cancellation to take effect before the upcoming monthly charge. If notice is received less than 15 days before the next billing date, the cancellation will take effect on the following billing cycle. Monthly fees already paid are non-refundable.
  • RevUP may terminate a membership for:
    • Breach of these Terms.
    • Misuse of services or platform.
    • Conduct harmful to the Community.
  • Upon termination, no refunds will be issued for unused subscription periods.

12. Limitation of Liability

  • RevUP will provide services with reasonable care but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.
  • RevUP is not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential losses arising from participation in the Community.

13. Amendments

  • RevUP may update these Terms periodically.
  • Members will be notified of material changes and continued use of the Community constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of Jamaica.
  • Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Jamaica.
